Pact Studios helped renovate an existing unit into a 24-bed Progressive Care Unit/Cardiac Patient Unit.

Pact Studios led a multi-discipline team through programming, design, and construction for a 15,000 square foot renovation project to convert an outdated ICU/Neuro Unit into a 24-bed Progressive Care Unit/Cardiac Patient Unit at UCHealth-Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado. 

With a focus on improving patient care and supporting patient services, special attention was given to maximizing staff efficiency through thoughtful use of space.  Six patient rooms were thoroughly remodeled and converted to meet ADA accessibility requirements.  Two negative pressure isolation rooms were added.  All remaining patient rooms were upgraded with new finishes and fixtures.  Other renovated spaces included Care Team support areas, patient care support areas, and public spaces. 

The planning and design effort took approximately 7 months and the construction lasted approximately 9 months.
