As Managing Principal – Mountain Region, Gretchen is excited to be back in Colorado leading Pact Studios' growth throughout the Mountain West. A licensed architect with experience on both the design and owner sides of the industry, she brings a unique perspective to helping clients navigate complex projects with confidence. Her background includes leading design and construction projects for a large healthcare system as well as experience managing projects across multiple market sectors. This gives her a deep understanding of balancing technical excellence with client goals. Gretchen is focused on building lasting relationships, growing Pact's regional presence, and fostering collaborative teams that deliver thoughtful, innovative solutions. She believes the best projects begin with listening—understanding each client's challenges and goals, then guiding teams to create environments that improve care and make a meaningful impact.
Gretchen lives in Colorado Springs with her two children. Whether she's exploring a new hiking trail, tackling a puzzle, or baking bread from scratch, she enjoys activities that reward curiosity, patience, and continuous learning.
Growing up, I learned to bake from humble ingredients; an experience that shaped my appreciation for resourcefulness, creativity, and craftsmanship. A self-taught baker, I enjoy experimenting with everything from artisan breads to elaborate desserts. The same curiosity, patience, and attention to detail that make a great loaf of bread also influence how I approach leadership and design.
