Shawn has spent his entire career focusing on complex project types. Healthcare is one of the most intricate project types for designers. Although challenging, he has applied his experience with complex projects to his healthcare designs and has created environments that are both functional and supportive for patients, family, and staff. With his diverse experience, good design has become second nature.
Shawn lives in Omaha with his wife, Tina, and daughter, Helen, who is 11 years old and in fifth grade. They enjoy spending time together cooking, watching movies, and gardening.
I have a pair of Red Eared Slider turtles named Smokey and Harvey at home that have been with me for 24 years. And I enjoy growing new vegetable varieties from seed every year in our short Nebraska summers.
